Hi ,

I really hope that you are benefiting from this strong market. I know that it was difficult to change the perspective from a downtrend to an uptrend, but as a trader you have to adjust to the situation in the market. The message is "follow the trend and not opinions".

Remember: Not every upmove will last forever. If you have serious gains in your account and the stock market rallied for some weeks, some of your positions can be vulnerable for a correction. Especially with parabolic moves or exhaustion runs, you want to sell into the strength and not give back all your gains.

Here is what you will find in this newsletter:
  • Questions and answers from the subscribers forum
  • Comment on the current market situation: Be prepared for every scenario
  • Stocks I am watching at the moment: $ONEM, $PGNY, $NVDA
  • Trading tips: What is the best time to buy and sell stocks?
If you have questions, please use the subscribers forum.

Thank you and good trading,
Julian

MARKET CONDITIONS

Be prepared for every scenario

There is are two sins in the stock market: Trading against the trend and entering to late.

As a stock trader who trades leading stocks, you want to get in as early as possible. That means: As soon as the general stock markets shows a higher high and higher low, trading above its moving average 21 and showing good volume on updays. That's the time when you want to buy leading stocks. But you don't want to buy blindly. You buy at the right time in synch with the market. That means: Breakouts from sound bases in the stocks with the best fundamentals and most important, best technicals.

When the market rallied about 10-20 weeks, the most stocks are exhausted. Usually you will not find any attractive setup after 5-7 weeks. That's the time when stocks are vulnerable for a correction. You see it in the stocks in your portfolio. They are changing their character: From a raging beast to a wobbling worm. That's the time to think about taking profits. Other stocks are exploding to the upside and burn their whole energy in a last, quick move. In that situation, you have to sell into the strength. Price and volume will help you.

The conclusion here: Always be prepared to do the opposite of what you are doing now. Only the prepared traders win the game. It's not a game for lazy and inflexible people.

spy-buy-sell
S&P 500 Buy and Sell areas: As written above, you want to buy and sell as soon as the market changes its direction. If you monitor the leading stocks on your watchlist, you see when the time is ripe.

3 LEADING STOCKS

The most stocks on my watchlist are already broken out and extended. If you missed them, you now have to wait for a new entry point. Be careful with stocks which now breakout. Make sure they are not lagging behind the market.

This week I have 36 stocks on my watchlist, 2 more as last week.

onem

$ONEM - This stock caught my attention last week, because of the high volume. I already knew the company and their product portfolio. They are revolutionizing the healthcare sector with a new concept.

I like the spikes in the volume, which shows accumulation from institutions. But remember: The most IPO leaders are already broken out and rallied for several hundred percent. This stock is a laggard in my opinion. I add it to my watchlist to monitor it and see if it can morph to a leader in future.

‌
pgny

$PGNY â€“ Another IPO stock from the healthcare services sector. I like their business model and service. But the stock isn't ready to buy at the moment.

Look at the monster volume which came into the last after earnings. That shows strong demand. Add the stock to your watchlist. Maybe it is a leader in future.

‌
nvda

$NVDA: That stock is a large cap growth stock. It had a very breakout to a new all-time high last week. The volume was very strong, but it was also an option exercise days. Maybe that's the reason for the strong volume.

The fundamentals are great, they are the leading chipmaker for the datacenter and cloud AI/ML industry. Next week, $NVDA will release earnings. Maybe the market expects a great earnings report. Be careful to buy into the stock before earnings.

TRADING TIPS

What is the best time to buy and sell stocks?

Related to my comments in the Market Conditions section, I produces a shot video about this topic. I think it is very important for every stock trader to understand that the general stock market can help you to time your buys and sells.
