This week wasn’t about chasing gains — it was about protecting them. The market turned choppy again, and our Market Trend Model flashed early warning signs. That’s why we acted defensively.

We sold weaker names, booked some profits — but also let our biggest winners run. That’s where discipline pays off. And while many traders got chopped up in the noise, we adjusted fast.

One big move: we added gold. After weeks of monitoring, it finally broke out of a massive base. Now we want to see if it can follow through in the coming weeks.

📈 Adapting to a Choppy Market

Markets don’t move in straight lines. Sometimes they trend beautifully. Other times, like now, they chop sideways and punish anyone who refuses to adapt.

The key lesson:
When the market changes, you must change with it.

That means:

• Cut exposure when the trend weakens. A good hin: If your portfolio is down 4% ore more in one day or get stopped out of several stocks in a row.

• Keep winners and let them run. They maybe can hold up in a weaker market! I still hold winners like JMIA, OPEN, WULF, TLRY and more.

• Step aside when conditions are unclear. Protecting mental and financial capital is key!

Most traders do the opposite — they push harder when they should slow down. That’s why they give back their profits.
